These answers help you prepare useful details so your load can be delivered faster.
Provide the transport length, width, height and weight as accurately as possible, measured with attachments in their travel position. Oversize thresholds change the trailer, permits and escorts required.
Non-runners can usually be moved, but the carrier must know in advance. Winching, tilt trays or cranes may be needed, and the equipment and price change accordingly.
It varies by job. Many carriers arrange permits and pilot vehicles for oversize movements; confirm who is responsible and whether those costs are included in the quote before award.
If the machine cannot load under its own power, tell the carrier what equipment is needed and what is available on site so you can organise the right setup or arrange a crane together.
Gate widths, ground condition, slopes, overhead wires, turning space and induction requirements decide which combination can enter the site and how long loading will take.
