There’s a temporary setup in place to help move the shift lever from Park to Drive or Park to Reverse. To do this, a small piece is pressed gently into the shift lock release hole before shifting. This is a short-term measure until it is fixed. It won’t damage the car as it is the manual way of releasing the gear selector from Park. I’ve provided photos for reference.Deliver by
